I want to attach a velcro strip or a magnet to some wood. The wood
is outside and will tend to get damp but probably not terribly wet.
I will not be able to use a clamp. At best I could hold it for a few
seconds. Gravity will be working against me. Any recommendations?
Thanks

I recommend Gorilla Glue or Outdoor GOOP. I use both, and, once they've
cured, they're great!

A heavy duty staple through the velcro into the wood would hold...
